Cosmo Succubus Girl Mesh Structure and Modular Slicing

The Cosmo Succubus Girl package contains a modular character model paired with a dedicated succubus scythe. Constructed as a low-poly asset without a built-in LOD chain, the main character mesh accounts for 46,662 faces, 89,422 triangles, and 51,362 vertices. The accompanying scythe weapon is modeled as an independent prop totaling 2,983 faces, 5,510 triangles, and 3,239 vertices. Both elements are balanced for real-time applications requiring detailed geometry without disproportionate polygon overhead.

Modularity is handled through structural body segmentation. Rather than relying on a continuous underlying torso that intersects through clothing layers during movement, the base body is sliced into distinct sections. Any mesh segments concealed under garments can be toggled off completely in engine. This prevents unsightly mesh clipping across complex poses while trimming down the active triangle count rendered on screen. The character can also be displayed unclothed, with a complete full-body mesh included. The body texture is censored, and adult anatomical parts are not modeled, lacking both dedicated skeletal controls and corrective morphs.

UE4 Mannequin Rigging and Animation Compatibility

The skeletal structure is anchored directly to the core UE4 Mannequin bone hierarchy, leaving the primary joint tree untouched to streamline retargeting workflows. Built natively inside Maya without proprietary plugins, the asset omits external manipulation controls or specialized animation rigs, delivering a clean bone hierarchy ready for real-time import. The base pose differs slightly from the standard Epic Skeleton reference pose, meaning minor manual adjustments to rest-pose bone alignments can improve deformation results when retargeting motion data.

To support dynamic secondary animation, the developer added extra dedicated bones across secondary elements. While native engine physics assets are not built directly into the project, these additional bones allow animators to drive secondary cloth or accessory sway using procedural tools like the KawaiiPhysics plugin. The rig supports a wide range of motion libraries out of the box, having been tested against:

  • Advanced Locomotion System v4 (ALSv4)
  • Lyra Starter Game
  • Valley of the Ancient
  • Close Combat: Swordsman
  • ARLS + Horse Animset
  • Succubus AnimSet
  • Female Interactions Animations
  • Standard third-person locomotion and general Mocap Library packages

52 Apple Blendshapes and Body Morphs

Facial performance capture relies on 52 calibrated Apple Blendshapes configured for real-time tracking pipelines. These morph targets have been evaluated inside Unreal Engine 5 using Live Link Face, establishing direct tracking compatibility with FaceWare, general facial mocap systems, VTuber streaming avatars, VRChat models, and MMD setups. The facial targets map phonemes, brows, eyelids, and jaw motions cleanly across the stylized head topology.

Beyond facial capture targets, the asset incorporates a series of body customization morphs that adjust primary silhouette parameters. Artists can modify breast and butt volume dynamically to alter the character's proportions. Head-level morphs allow scaling the length of both the main hair and bangs, making them longer or shorter depending on character styling needs. The ears also host dedicated deformation channels, granting the ability to switch between standard human ears and elongated elf ears while altering their overall contour.

4K Material ID Color Control and Packed Texture Sets

Surfacing is organized across ten discrete texture sets: Body, Head, Eyes, Hair, Lashes, Teeth, Scythe, Bot, Top, and Other. The textures are supplied at 4K resolution, using packed channel configurations to conserve runtime memory and reduce draw call overhead. Standard maps provided across the sets include BaseColour, Normal, Roughness, Metallic, Ambient Occlusion, Opacity, and Emissive channels.

Color customization relies on dedicated Material ID maps generated for the skin, eyes, hair, and clothing garments. By sampling these ID masks inside Unreal Engine Material Instances, users can isolate and re-tint individual surface components without hand-painting fresh diffuse maps. This enables rapid variations for team colors, alternate outfits, or skin tones directly in the material editor without multiplying base texture storage.

Unreal Engine Setup and Hair Simulation

Configured for Unreal Engine 4.19 and newer releases, the asset structure utilizes separated skeletal meshes compatible with Master Pose Component and Leader Pose Component workflows. This modular configuration allows armor pieces and garments to follow the primary body skeleton synchronously without duplicating bone logic. The project includes baseline third-person standard animations for testing locomotion right away.

Visual fidelity in motion is augmented by a dedicated wind simulation setup applied to the hair mesh, simulating environmental breezes without requiring external cloth solvers. Gameplay Blueprints are not bundled with the package, focusing the asset purely on its skeletal meshes, materials, and motion-ready deformations. The underlying FBX and OBJ assets are authored to transfer into external DCC tools such as Maya, Unity, and Blender, functioning cleanly in environments that read standard skin weights and unified morph targets.
