Resource overview

Setting an investigative or survival project inside remote field headquarters requires environmental assets that communicate both habitation and expedition history. Staging a run-down roadside motel room, a converted research station, or an adventurer's domestic hideout demands architectural credibility alongside specific narrative set dressing. Modular Interiors and Explorer Props addresses these specific settings by pairing structural interior components with authentic historical relics and specialized survival gear.

Constructing Multi-Story Field Bases with Modular Interiors

The core structural kit supplies the foundational elements necessary to build complete domestic and commercial rooms, branching hallways, and entry points. Assemblies rely on modular walls, ceilings, floors, window frames, and doors that snap together cleanly to form enclosed layouts. Rather than restricting projects to ground-level rooms, structural updates provide dedicated half-stair and full-stair pieces, paired with second-story components that allow environments to expand vertically across multiple levels. Wall variations include corner pieces and specialized door entrances stripped of crown molding, giving level designers the freedom to create austere, practical rooms or layered residential buildings.

While the kit focuses entirely on interior layouts and does not supply dedicated exterior building shells, every structural panel is constructed with exterior-facing geometry. These outer faces utilize separated material IDs, allowing artists to map external siding, concrete, or brick directly onto the geometry without rebuilding the framing. This dual-sided construction enables seamless transitions between indoor spaces and custom building exteriors in a unified scene.

First-Person Ready Explorer Hero Props and Expedition Gear

Beyond structural framework, the asset set emphasizes high-detail narrative equipment intended for close examination in first-person camera perspectives. Expeditions rely on specialized navigation and survival tools, represented here by an inspectable compass Blueprint that features functional rotating components. Personal equipment includes modeled binoculars, a heavy flashlight, hand-held walkie talkies, a bolt rifle, a field machete, and a closed traveling briefcase. Field hydration is handled through water canteens that include modeled interior cavities alongside separate lid-on and lid-off mesh variations.

Medical and documentation needs are supported by a field medkit supplied in both closed and opened states, complete with an individual key prop. Research environments can be littered with the included explorer's journal and notebook set, which provides individual loose pages and sketch notes ready to be distributed across tabletops, desks, and floorboards to map out investigation leads or past journeys.

Artifacts Grounded in Riviera Maya Historical Reference

The collection draws distinct historical character from a dedicated assortment of archaeological relics. Rather than relying on generic fantasy shapes, the included Mayan and Incan artifacts were developed using direct visual reference gathered from the Riviera Maya region in Mexico. These pieces supply genuine regional atmosphere for archeological, historical, or supernatural storylines.

The artifact selection features an intricately carved stone tablet etched with native symbols and iconography, alongside a stylized witch doctor sculpture. For alchemical or ritualistic scene dressing, the set includes an ancient monkey head vessel, designed with a modeled interior cavity specifically intended to hold poisons, remedies, or field potions.

Everyday Motel Furnishings and Functional Blueprints

To ground the archaeological gear within believable living spaces, the kit provides extensive everyday motel and domestic furniture. Bedroom areas can be styled using a full wooden wardrobe, study desks, side tables, wooden chairs, and a cushioned leather chair. Sleeping quarters utilize a comprehensive bed assembly consisting of the frame, mattress, sheets, and blanket, all provided as standalone models or pre-combined meshes to simplify scene population. Utility decor includes old tire piles, scattered cardboard boxes, a textured plastic trash bin, light switches, wall outlet plates, a retro desk clock, and hanging picture frames.

Illumination hardware mixes standard dressing with interactive Blueprints. Lighting props cover table lamps configured with and without fabric shades, featuring dedicated subsurface scattering and emissive texture maps to simulate diffused light, as well as a matching tall floor lamp with specialized emissive night profiles. Overhead air circulation is handled through a functional ceiling fan Blueprint that incorporates animated spinning blades right out of the box.

Material Configurations and Engine Lighting Scenarios

The material architecture is centered around high-fidelity glass and optimized texture structures. Transparency and surface reflections are driven by the M_Default_Glass_Master shader alongside tailored MI_Glass material instances, refined to handle complex refraction across windows and framed art. Texture assets default to a balanced 2048x2048 resolution to safeguard memory usage during heavy level population, while maintaining clean resolution scaling up to 4096x4096 when maximum surface fidelity is needed.

Environment scenes are configured with distinct illumination modes across engine generations. The package includes both baked and real-time ray-traced lighting rigs calibrated for daytime settings across Unreal Engine 4.27 and 5.0. For Unreal Engine 5.1 and newer versions, a dedicated nighttime lighting scenario leverages Lumen dynamic illumination, providing realistic bounce lighting from table lamps, emissive shades, and ambient moonlight through the windows.

Production Utility for Narrative Adventure Games

Crafted through a collaborative effort involving Mostafa Sobhi and the Sierra Division Art Team, alongside the developer behind PurePolygons and Downtown West Modular Packs, the kit serves narrative adventure developers, survival game designers, and environment artists constructing cinematic sets. The mix of modular domestic architecture, inspectable field tools, and authentic Mexican archaeological artifacts offers a cohesive staging ground for field researchers, occult investigators, or treasure hunters. Furthermore, two percent of all proceeds generated by the pack are committed directly to Project Amigo, supporting educational initiatives and scholarships for youth in Mexico.
