Resource overview

Deploying Nanite and Low Poly Mesh Variants

Integrating Safe House VOL.1 into an Unreal Engine project begins with selecting the appropriate geometry pipeline for your target hardware. The package contains 300 static meshes, arranged so that every asset has both a high-density Nanite version and a standard low-poly counterpart. This parallel mesh structure allows teams working in Unreal Engine 5.0 and newer to leverage Nanite virtualization for extreme micro-polygon surface detail while preserving a conventional low-poly path for platforms where standard rasterization remains necessary.

Every model in the collection is modeled with complete geometric coverage from all viewing angles. Because all sides are fully authored without missing backfaces or open underside cavities, props can be inspected in close-up first-person viewports, placed freely across shelving units, or tossed dynamically into game environments as physics objects. The geometry targets realistic AAA production standards, balancing fidelity and memory overhead for modern game scenes.

Weapon Mesh Separation and Rigging Setup

The firearm lineup includes pistols, shotguns, and assault rifles alongside tactical cases and display storage. To support interactive mechanics, the guns feature split geometric parts. Receivers, slides, magazines, triggers, and auxiliary components are disconnected into independent sub-elements rather than fused into a single rigid mesh.

The package does not contain pre-made animations, but the separation of moving elements simplifies the handoff to character animators and technical artists. Slides can be keyed for recoil cycles, magazines can be detached during reload logic, and triggers can respond to input events. Weapon cases and storage containers similarly maintain clean component division, making it straightforward to rig opening latches, swinging lids, and modular foam inserts inside inventory screens or real-time inspection menus.

Master Material Controls and 4K Texture Packing

Material management in the collection relies on a unified master material framework that governs the majority of props and weapon models. Instead of populating the project with isolated, inflexible material instances, the master material exposes targeted parameter switches across every asset. Artists can adjust albedo values, roughness curves, and normal intensities directly in material instances to match specific environmental wear, moisture levels, or scene lighting conditions.

Surfaces are mapped with 4K texture sets, preserving tiny details such as receiver stampings, case ribbing, and edge wear. Textures utilize channel packing, combining Roughness, Metalness, and Ambient Occlusion into a single multi-channel RMA texture asset. This compact channel arrangement minimizes memory bandwidth during runtime rendering and reduces texture sampler calls across complex safe house set dressings.

All packaging labels, container markings, and equipment branding featured across the props were authored custom by the studio. Because these visual identifiers are entirely fictional and legal-issue free, the assets can be placed into commercial titles without requiring texture repainting, logo blurring, or trademark clearance passes.

Lumen Lighting and Look Up Table Calibration

Scene presentation is tuned specifically for modern Unreal Engine lighting pipelines. The project provides native support for Lumen dynamic global illumination and reflections in Unreal Engine 5.0 and above. Weapon surfaces, metallic gun parts, matte supply cases, and ambient clutter pick up bounced light naturally from nearby surfaces, eliminating the need for baked lightmaps.

A preconfigured post-process volume accompanies the environment maps, featuring a custom Look Up Table (LUT) designed to establish a grounded, cinematic tone. The LUT balances contrast, highlights, and shadow depth, providing an immediate reference configuration for post-apocalyptic safe zones, survivalist bunkers, armory depots, and tactical stash houses.

Production Readiness for Survival and FPS Projects

Safe House VOL.1 functions as a modular kit for interior shelters, emergency armories, and scavenging hubs. Between the Nanite meshes for cinematic scenes and low-poly meshes for performance-conscious game loops, the technical setup adapts smoothly to different production targets. The combination of split mechanical parts, custom fictional branding, flexible master materials, and calibrated Lumen post-processing delivers a complete pipeline asset set created by Dekogon Studios artists that drops cleanly into active development environments.
