Dual Body Shapes and Geometric Footprint

Forest Druid Girl is based on two complete geometric configurations: a fully clothed version and an alternate body shape featuring underwear. Both states are delivered fully rigged, providing immediate structural flexibility for productions requiring clothing swaps, layered wardrobe logic, or alternate staging without forcing artists to re-skin naked anatomy or stitch clothing geometry onto bare meshes after the fact.

In terms of polygon density, the character operates comfortably within modern real-time performance targets. The topology sits at 21,888 faces, 43,456 triangles, and 43,468 vertices. This balance places the character inside a budget suitable for both optimized mobile rendering and mid-range fantasy role-playing titles, providing sufficient surface resolution to preserve physical curves and organic contours around the face, limbs, and drapery while keeping overhead manageable during intense gameplay sequences.

Epic Skeleton Integration and Eye Articulation

Movement within Forest Druid Girl relies on the standard Epic Skeleton hierarchy. Adhering to this established standard means the asset operates cleanly with existing animation libraries, retargeting setups, and Animation Blueprints right out of the box. Locomotion sets, combat choreography, and ambient idle states mapped to the Epic standard translate directly onto the mesh without extensive remapping or bone realignment.

In addition to the primary skeletal framework, the character includes dedicated rigging for the eyes. Integrating dedicated eye bones permits controlled focal tracking, gaze shifting, and accurate aiming during close-up dialogue scenes or gameplay interactions. Paired with standard Animation Blueprints, these extra nodes enable procedural look-at targets and nuanced facial staging that static, unrigged eye meshes cannot deliver.

The Nine 4K PBR Texture Sets

Surfacing for the character is split across nine discrete texture sets, allowing individual UV spaces to maintain high visual clarity. Rather than compressing the entire character and her gear onto a single crowded texture sheet, the material setup divides the asset into dedicated regions: Torso, Face, Arms, Staff, Eyes, Toes, Hair, Cornea, Cloth. Isolating elements such as the cornea and eyes into their own texture assignments enables specialized optical shading behaviors, while separate maps for the hair, cloth, and skin areas maintain crisp detail up close.

Each set operates within the PBR Metal/Roughness standard and is authored at 4K resolution. The package provides a complete selection of technical map channels across these sets:

  • Albedo for diffuse color representation
  • Normal maps for high-frequency micro-surface and anatomical details
  • Roughness maps for precise reflectivity control
  • Metallic maps for structural material separation
  • Opacity maps for hair strand blending and transparency effects
  • MatID masks for specific zone tinting and color selection

By organizing the surfaces across dedicated maps for the torso, arms, toes, face, hair, and cloth, the asset ensures that skin transitions, fabric weaves, and magical gear remain visually distinct under varying light setups.

Cloth Variation Through Material Instances and MatID Maps

Customization for the character's attire does not require re-authoring 4K albedo textures in external painting tools. Instead, the material pipeline utilizes the included matID texture masks alongside Material Instances to isolate and modify the color values of the cloth directly in the game engine. By exposing tint and color parameters inside the Material Instance, artists can establish distinct visual ranks, seasonal shifts, or faction palettes in seconds.

This material-driven approach reduces disk space and streaming requirements. Rather than loading multiple heavy 4K diffuse maps to represent different outfit themes, the underlying engine references the core albedo and normal textures while applying lightweight vector math to alter the cloth sections designated by the matID channel. This keeps memory footprints stable across diverse gameplay scenarios featuring the character.

Magic Focus: Staff Weaponry and Fantasy Production Roles

Beyond the character body, the asset includes a dedicated staff prop configured with its own 4K PBR texture maps. This inclusion rounds out the character for fantasy, medieval, and magic-driven archetypes, establishing her role as a spellcaster, nature protector, or forest mystic directly upon deployment. Because the staff uses the same physical texturing workflow as the main mesh, surface highlights, metallic bands, and weathered roughness values interact naturally with the surrounding world lighting.

With its combination of an included weapon, dual rigged body states, 43,456-triangle geometry, and full compatibility with the Epic Skeleton, Forest Druid Girl provides a reliable base for mobile projects, stylized RPGs, and action-adventure productions needing a versatile magical combatant.
